|    Joke for the day, "Obama Warns Russia Ag    |

XPost: ba.politics, dc.media, soc.penpals       XPost: alt.burningman       From: msnbchomo@espn.com              Hey Obama! Putin doesn't like fags. Like you.              WASHINGTON--President Barack Obama on Friday warned Russia       against conducting a military intervention in Ukraine.              "We are now deeply concerned about reports of military movements       taken by the Russian federation inside of Ukraine," Mr. Obama       said from the White House.              "The U.S. will stand with the international community in       affirming that there will be costs for any military intervention       in Ukraine," he added, without detailing what actions the U.S.       and international community would take.              The president's statement came amid a day of heightened tension       in Ukraine, after heavily armed gunmen surrounded two airports       in the restive pro-Russian region of Crimea, which prompted       outcries from authorities in the region that Russia was behind       the invasion.              Mr. Obama said the U.S. will continue to work with the       international community--and Russia--in what he called a fluid       situation.              But, he said, any meddling by Russia would be condemned and drew       a contrast with its recent hosting of the Olympic Games. "And       just days after the world came to Russia for the Olympic Games--       it would invite the condemnation of nations around the world,"       he said.              U.S. officials said earlier in the day they were trying to       determine who was behind the unrest in Crimea.              Secretary of State John Kerry, speaking Friday to his Russian       counterpart for the second time in two days, said Moscow has       pledged to respect Ukraine's territorial integrity, but that       developments heightened the risk of a provocation.              Neither Mr. Kerry nor the White House said what the U.S. would       do in response.              "The question is whether or not what is happening now might be       crossing a line in any way, and we're going to be very careful       in making our judgments about that," Mr. Kerry said.              http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20140228-717396.html                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
