XPost: ba.politics, dc.media, soc.penpals       XPost: alt.burningman       From: absolute-morons@barackobama.com              Woman charged in Galveston DUI death arrested again in       Friendswood              A woman previously charged with intoxication manslaughter in a       wreck that killed a retired police officer has been arrested       again, this time for a misdemeanor drug charge.              Callie Inman, 18, was arrested Monday by Friendswood police       during a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Melody Lane near FM       2351. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.              The vehicle that Inman was riding in was stopped for a minor       traffic violation. Police said the driver, Patrick Hubert, 25,       did not have proof of insurance and was found to have two       outstanding felony warrants for his arrest in Harris County       connected to previous drug charges.              "Hubert exited the vehicle and told the officer that the       passenger had been smoking marijuana," said Lisa Price,       spokeswoman for the Friendswood Police Department.              A search of the vehicle was conducted and a baggie containing       marijuana residue was found, Price said.              Inman's driver's license still lists Dayton as her place of       residence, Price added.              According to Price, both Inman and Hubert made bond on Monday       afternoon.              On Feb. 22, Dana Tweedie, 61, and Linda Tweedie, 52, were       driving along Seawall Boulevard when Inman allegedly ran into       their motorcycle as she pulled out of a Valero parking lot at       69th Street and Seawall Boulevard, according to Galveston       police. The Tweedies were attending Mardi Gras with officers in       a motorcycle group.              Dana Tweedie died and his wife was severely injured.              Dana Tweedie retired in 2008 after 26 years of service with       HPD's central patrol. Linda Tweedie is a senior police officer       with 27 years of experience assigned to the first-responder       division.              Inman, a former cheerleader at Dayton High School, was charged       with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. She is       currently out on $150,000 bond on those charges.              http://www.chron.com/neighborhood/bayarea/crime-       courts/article/Woman-charged-in-Galveston-DUI-death-arrested-       5418635.php                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
