   Julianne Hough opens up in the August 2014 issue of Redbook   
   about her dating history and reveals what may have caused the   
   demise of her three-year relationship with Ryan Seacrest.   
      
   “Every relationship, there was nothing wrong or bad, but there   
   was nothing right,” she said of previous romances. “I had one   
   foot out because I didn’t want to get hurt. And I didn’t say   
   what was on my mind because I didn’t want to ruffle any   
   feathers. I needed to be perfect.”   
      
   After the relationship ended the ex-“Dancing with the Stars”   
   professional took a vacation with her family and came to a   
   realization.   
      
   “I had this epiphany when my family went to a six-day seminar   
   [last November] about creating your own destiny,” she revealed.   
   “I learned so much about myself and why my relationships didn’t   
   work that by the end I was on a high. I was seeing a couple   
   people, but immediately [pretends to text guys], ‘You are nice,   
   but this is going nowhere.   
      
   Soon after a mutual pal set the 25-year-old “Footloose” star up   
   with hockey player Brooks Laich and the two have been an item   
   since December 2013.
