I fired up my pre-415 version of Winpoint and I remember how awkward it was to initiate a file-request from another BBS that is not your boss. Infact, my version has this issue that I documented on my aforementioned site: WinPoint] CONS [o] sometimes areafix is created for "0:8/15" address. I my consider installing 415 and see what differences there are. [..time passes, as I install 415..] It the file request part seems to be behaving better. At least the 0:8/15 problem is gone. I tested a couple of file requests, (haven't actually sent them out yet) ..but the system seems to have created the .REQ files fine. The bottom line seems to be that you have to *first* pre-define alternate fido-systems were you want to get the files from. And.. if done right you should see .REQ files in the Outbound section of the operating panel (the very lower left corner for me): https://ibb.co/vBrw2Sg -- ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.58 * Origin: The ONLY point that matters! --> . <-- (2:221/1.58) SEEN-BY: 15/0 90/1 103/705 105/81 106/201 124/5016 128/260 129/305 SEEN-BY: 135/220 225 153/757 7715 154/10 30 203/0 218/700 221/1 6 SEEN-BY: 221/360 226/30 227/114 229/110 112 113 206 317 400 426 428 SEEN-BY: 229/470 664 700 240/1120 5832 266/512 280/464 5003 282/1038 SEEN-BY: 291/111 292/854 8125 301/1 310/31 320/219 322/757 341/66 SEEN-BY: 341/234 342/200 396/45 423/81 120 460/58 256 1124 467/888 SEEN-BY: 633/280 712/848 770/1 5020/400 5054/30 5075/35 PATH: 221/1 280/464 460/58 229/426 |
