The Trump administration seriously believes it can conclude a treaty with
Russia immediately after the end of the war in Ukraine for the development of
mining in Russia, with the US investing enormous sums of money in Russia.

Apparently, they seriously believe Russia will then abandon all its ambitions
of conquest. Trump's naiveté is even greater than his inflated ego. Or...
it's a much worse scenario.

So what will happen if peace is restored in Ukraine is that Russia will
receive a huge economic boost from the US and Russia will quickly regain its
status as a world power, at the expense of Europe and Ukraine.

That's what's happening.

Trump seriously believes he can trade Europe and Ukraine for Russia.

Suppose there were peace in a few weeks and this scenario became reality...

What could that mean?

I think Trump would then, like Hitler and Stalin, divide the world. Europe
would be divided.

Russia will gain Eastern Europe, and the US will take Greenland and possibly
Canada. The US might then also attempt to subdue Central and South America.
Because of France and the UK's nuclear weapons, Western Europe will remain
free from Russian domination. They assume that Western Europe will behave
properly, like a well-behaved lapdog for Trump and Putin.

Sounds ridiculous, but look what Trump has actually said!

He says it!

So, of course, you can take aim at my piece, but open your eyes, Trump has
been saying all this for years! His contempt for Western Europe is immense.

Why shouldn't we take him seriously? He's now also persecuting Spanish
speakers in the US. Not in the US's interest, but he's doing it anyway. Not
because Trump is so smart, but because he's just as disgusting a human being
as Putin.

He's eager to do what he says, and there are enough loyal followers to do it!
