Warner Bros. Discovery's management is advising shareholders not to accept
Paramount's takeover offer. That must be a huge blow to Paramount.

Warner's management had already struck a deal with Netflix and is clearly not
thrilled with a potential merger with Paramount, which recently made headlines
due to its close ties with the White House under Trump.

Warner Bros. is so popular because the company has a vast archive of series
and films.

Paramount doesn't have the funding yet and will have to rely on external
financiers. These will likely be some of Trump's wealthy friends.
