Either of us may never know the complete/full answers on this.  As good as
Elise is, NYC is a mess with Libtards and she might have lost to Hochul. 
Trump endorsed the other guy after Elise stepped down.

I was just assuming that Trump had other plans for her.  There's no sense in
having a protracted Primary when you can send in someone who MIGHT win against
Hochul.  I'm not saying Hochul is all that... Its just that the voters of NYC
are Tampon Tim Like.

There maybe a Primary in your State... BUT there won't be one where 2 "Good"
candidates duke it out in a no-holds-barred blood bath fight.  Where Elise
might, more like probably, wold have won and then lost to Hochul in a general
election.

Aaron, some of this is my thinking... We need to use the Conservative assets
wisely to win and keep both sides Congress.

Republican NY Governor primary will be the Trump endorsed person and 2 or 3
other people... Maybe Curtis Sliwa will run.  Who knows.

I hope that this works out... I cannot see Elise pulling a MTG and throwing
the voters under the bus... I just want to wait and see.
