In an effort to keep this simple,

  Using US troops to execute an arrest warrant by invading a soverign country
sets an insanely dangerous precedence and is generally avoided for good
reason. Namely, you just opened the door for another country either overtly
through the use of force or covertly by kinapping your own citizens by the
agents of another country who might swear our a criminal warrant and the US
blocks formal extradition.  You can't have your cake and eat it too!

  Once again, the Trump administration has ignored established diplomatic and
legal due process to do things his own way.  Not giving a damn about the
political and future national security implications.
