Like I said, here in Michigan, parents could vote down millages that the
schools depended on for funding. So the boards had to do what's right.  But
then the Elitists took that away and the school boards no longer cared what the
parents wanted.

A lot of this would be cleared up with School Choice and let the tax money
follow the student to ANY school.

Good.  2 years seems excessive.

It reminds me of when I worked at GM.  The building that I worked in needed
their cafeteria remodeled. Instead of going with Union workers, GM contracted
to another company.  It took them 2 weeks.  So the cafe get shut down on
Friday.  It's completely gutted by next Friday.  Rebuilt by the next Friday and
open on Monday.

There is **NO** way the Union would have worked that fast.
