Maybe... They can be and that's why you don't mess with them.

I was talking to my  mother the other day about Gators and Crocks.  Crocks are
more aggressive.  They'll swim 3 miles to bite you, not because it was hungry,
but rather BECAUSE.  Whereas Gators are not like that.  They'll avoid you if
possible... AS A GENERAL RULE.

So, my mother thought I meant that you can keep them as pets... sends me links
on people who were attacked by a Gator... The point was missed...

Recall the story I told you when I first went to Florida, 4th of July
celebration, kids were swimming in the canal and there were Gators sunning
themselves not far away.  I start to panic... I was told to relax...

I personally don't care what they say... I'm not going to swim where Gators
are in case there is one that is hungry.

So... Don't pet Gators, Sharks and Canadian Geese and you'll probably live a
little longer.
