France announced that its brand-new anti-missile air defense system will also
be sent to Ukraine immediately upon production. This will be the first time
Ukraine will have access to literally the latest Western technology to counter
Russian missiles.

France is doing this completely independently of NATO.

This system is reportedly also capable of destroying the Russian Oreshnik
missile. It was specifically developed for this purpose. However, this system
cannot simply protect all of Ukraine. It can, however, protect large cities.
An action like the Oreshnik on Lviv could be prevented if the system is
deployed there.

This system is said to be even better than the American Patriot. This could
mean that Europe will no longer be dependent on the exorbitantly expensive and
currently hard-to-find American products.
