There's an interview on YouTube of him long after his speech and he said that
elimination of racism was happening way faster than he dreamed.  It took his
assassination and race grifters to put the breaks on what he started.

Pretty much it.  The mental gymnastics they go through to justify their beliefs
is amazing.  You'd think they would have stronger brains having done all that
exercise to justify their false Narrative.

Totally agree.  And we need an Al Jolson day too.

But such things go against the Left's false Narrative, so it would be an uphill
