I have a stepson.  he was never an academic at all.  I had a talk with him
before he turned 18 and told him he needs to either go to school or get a
career... I said welding is a great paying job... I bought him a one way 
ticket to Ft. McMurray, the heart of the oil sands project, he protested that
the ticket was only one way... I said you'll figure it out.

He's a welder and pays more in income taxes than some people make in a year.

We need to see less gender studies and more trades classes.

He did all this and they paid him while he learned his craft.
