What else is there to do in Ukraine other than corrupt stuff? Not much, I
suppose. I'm not in a hurry to go there.

It sounds similar to the desperation that we see in third world countries. The
elites know that they made things miserable for everyone else, and they don't
want to experience the hell that they've created, and they don't look back.
