I have no clue, I have never tried sending an encrypted email. ;)

It shouldn't. Just publish your keys to a key-server, and pull in what you
need on other devices... Although private keys of course can't be pushed to a
key-server and will have to be exchanged using whatever suites you...

Indeed. ;)

But are those older keys still usable? I have two keys from 1993, I no longer
remember the passwords for. :-(
But they aren't on the keyservers afaik, so nobody will be tempted to use
them. ;)
