I assume that these are push-pull, operated "pull" out from the terminal,
and "push" into the terminal with a cab control car in front.
This is why push-pull trains have always scared me when they operate in
"push" mode.  If there had been a locomotive at the front of the train
perhaps there might have not been a fatality (can't be sure about the
engineer) and fewer injuries amont the passengers.
