 * In a message originally to Allen Prunty, Mike Powell said: MP> > This could benefit the state and would eventually add a route to MP> > Frankfort (the state capital) which is about 170 miles away from MP> > Louisville, Georgetown KY (toyota is very interested in this route MP> Frankfort is more like ~55 miles East of Louisville, give or take. I might have missed the mark a bit on that one since my car favors the KM vs the mileage and I get mixed up a bit after the brain injury... from where I am at I have to loop back through louisville to get on I64... most of the mileage from Louisville is from the cities border to the destination. Ironically after merger when Louisville adopted the merger a lot of the cities in Kentucky suddenly got between 10-15 miles closer :-) I know this because I worked for the city at the time and we had to adjust the milemarkers and highway signs. ... Barnum was wrong....it's more like every 30 seconds! --- * Origin: LiveWire BBS - Telnet://livewirebbs.com (1:2320/100) |
