I have a special attachment to BNR because my Grandfather used to work
for BNR as a Permanent Way Inspector in the late 30s and early 40s, way
before I was born. I have heard many interesting stories of his
experiences mostly from my Dad.

As for N Classes, we lived in Bhilai while the massive Hindustan Steel
steel plant was under construction in the late '50s, and that is when
the Dalhi Rajhara mines were set up and the N Class Garrats started
operating between Dalhi Rajhara and Bhilai. They were a sight to behold,
and left a lasting impression on my then young mind.
