Right; the stats I had were at the state level.  You can get rates for
individual cities, but not rates or rankings for agglomerations unless
you do the math yourself, and I'm not interested enough to bother.

Same in any state.  Heck, the southern half of Dallas County has
probably five times the murder rate of the northern half, and population
density for both is about the same; it's all about poverty rates.
