No.  Inaccurate data or analysis is worse than no analysis at all.

Transit has often been a victim of ignorant armchair analysts who make transit
seem far less desirable than other modes.  

A key reality is that there isn't an easy answer as to which mode is "better",
it varies by a person's individual circumstances, time of day, and ultimate
destination.  That is, there are times someone would be crazy not to take the
train, but there 
would be times that an alternative mode would be better (like 3 am when the
trains aren't running).
