That's the total from the 3 lines. I don't know how it breaks down
but in my experience the inbound Sunday afternoon/evening Harlem line
trains a few years ago were more crowded than rush hour (there was a
doubling of frequency for weekend trains at busy times last year that
should have alleviated this). Weekend New Haven trains are also
standing-room only at busy times.
There is a huge amount of reverse commuting to Stamford, CT & White
Plains, NY from both Manhattan stations. Metro-North charges peak
fares in both directions in the AM rush. They still allow the
off-peak discount on the Manhattan-bound PM rush.
