In google streetview today, the area looks deserted, with some buildings torn down, and others converted to social service uses. All I can say is that the area around the station has seen worse days than now. I have traveled to SOB pretty much at least once every other year by the Lake Shore or the Cap for the last 20 or so years, and have seen the area around the station first decline and hit bottom and then slowly start to recover. --- SoupGate/W32 v1.03 * Origin: LiveWire BBS -=*=- UseNet FTN Gateway (1:2320/1) |
