this sounds like you are using software written for an older version of your
RA... it is writing the data incorrectly to the user's file...

run "RAMGR /U" to use the user editor and look at the records to see if they
contain proper data... you might want to copy your RA data files to a safe
place before using RAMGR or editing any records...
