Several 'Dan Traczynski' show up in a Facebook search, one looks like he has a
programming background (didn't creep too much, just a quick glance). :)
 
I did manage to find Willow Lucas-Smith this way, who was the programmer of
MAFRAG (arrow key driven file area/group selector).
She made the old door freeware and allowed me to modify it for her.
 
So don't give up!
