Actually it's very rare for me to hire work out and I can count on
one hand the ones I trust . I hired someone local to swap the motor in
my 4Runner because it was just more work than I wanted to do out in the
yard . I've got the axle in the shop because Patrick has done several
and is equipped to do that . I have the tools but not the experience .
In both cases the work was done by someone I know and trust . The shop
that did my motor is my neighbor's brother in law and I've had him do
other work - the transmission for my truck for one . The guy re-gearing
my axle used to live across the road from me , I've seen and admired
his work - 5.0 Ford V8's that spin 12,000 RPM and live to tell it for
   instance .
