      No, it would be to figure out what other problems they had, and   
   dealing with those. This hospital really surprised me. I'm used to the   
   average general practioner, along with most other medical specialists,   
   being generally ignorant of high dose DXM use. The reality is they   
   likely aren't going to need to deal with this ever in their practice.   
   And, if they ever do, they'll have time to do some studying about it. It   
   is the exact reverse with an Emergency Room. They need to know ahead of   
   time about various different drugs people take. People showing up in ERs   
   high as a kite on DXM, and sometimes involving serious overdoses, it   
   common enough in just about any ER. This news report in fact mentioned   
   multiple previous cases involving DXM with this ER. I don't understand   
   how they couldn't know DXM was a dissociative anaesthetic, and not an   
   opiate? In ERs, this is common knowledge.
