I have no idea what it means. What is "mind"?? It seems to me that at
least some "mind" is always manifest, even in deep sleep. With mind
always manifest, would 'psychedelic' then mean 'manifesting more
mind'?? If so, then we imply the idea of 'manifesting less mind',
   i.e. 'antipsychedelic'.

Would in be too Freudian to introduce the concept of perceptual
filtering, in terms of how we filter sensation, memory, emotion and
cognition?? Then perhaps we could look at the deconstruction of
perceptual filtering as tending towards 'psychedelic', enhancement of
or addition of new perceptual filtering as tending towards
'anti-psychedelic', and mixtures of both as more or less tending
   towards 'mixed'.

Do drugs filter things out from one's awareness?? Do people ever use
   them with that intent??

What's a new year?? Is there any year that happened that wasn't 'new'
when it happened?? What does it mean for any point in time, or period
of time be 'new'?? Is the present moment 'new'?? Or is the present
   moment very very old??
