Deadheads don't find LSD psychotomimetic because they don't have the
underlying insanity in their personalities and lifestyles that so many
people in our culture today have. I do not believe at all that LSD
mimics psychosis. If you become psychotic on LSD its because thats
what you have in your personality at the core. If you become
enlightened on LSD its because thats what you have in your personality
   at the core.

They were very communal and spiritual. The few that still follow the
dead today when they can still are. I went to the Dead show in Texas
this last July 4 and it was wonderful.
