   I have been looking around for a pill press to use as an alternative to   
   a Cap'm Quik gelatin capsule filler. Im planning on using it for   
   pressing together herbs and other ethnogens and perhaps chemicals   
   (caffeine, or maybe some from legalhighs). I cant find any resources on   
   how to build one at home.   
      
   I was thinking of using a bullet shell but the idea of ingesting   
   gunpowder was unsetteling. So I am making a prototype out of hardwood.   
   An oak block and a hardwood dowel probably oak as well. I dont think it   
   will work superbly as the binders and herbs may stick to the grains in   
   the wood. And I dont have a metal lathe so I cant turn even a simple one   
   out of aluminum.   
      
   Anyone know of any cheap pill presses or places that describe the   
   maufacture of one?
