      Personally, I agree with you 100%. I've in fact taken diphenhydramine at   
   recreational doses. However, when it comes to reporting news it isn't my   
   opinion that counts, but what are the facts. I've confirmed direct with the   
   coroner that this person apparently thought DXM + diphenhydramine + alcohol   
   would be a great high.

      Your friend was lucky that he survived. That you were there to make sure   
   he didn't do something stupid on Benadryl may be why. Being a good trip   
   sitter often just involves saying "Dude, you're high. It'll wear off.
