XPost: rec.drugs.psychedelic, rec.drugs.smart, rec.equestrian       From: chris@starviewfarm.com              Daniel says       >I'm not brainwashed by liberal web sites. I saw a TV       >show about the thousands of POW in Afghanistan made       >by a French TV station (I'm in Canada and saw it on       >CBC, a public TV station). I made a search on the net              Talk about brainwashed.. the CBC in Canada is part of the       "sneering elite" that demonizes anything from the USA.       Just turn it on today and hear about how the US is losing in Falluj,       or go onto the web and find out how they've already taken most       of the city in 3 days.              The CBC loves to re-run their idiot from the East, Rick Mercer, when       he waylaid presidential candidate Bush and asked him about       the Canadian Prime Minister, Mr Poutine? Well, Canadians       got a yuck out of Bush's ignorance, but really, who CARES       what the PM of Canada is, it's becoming a nobody job for       a country that has lost its roots and its way in the world.              And Daniel, Moore may have made you laugh about Bush's       reaction to the news that the USA was under attack.       Did you hear what Kerry's reaction was? Kerry said       he was disoriented for 40 minutes. What was your response,       Daniel? Did you blame it on the Americans, like our last       PM, Mr "Dino" Chretin? It was a shock and Bush       happened to be in front of school children at the time, what       do you expect him to do? Have a nervous nellie breakdown,       like some fifi from Quebec?              Of course Daniel this is the nugget here:       > People from extreme right like Timothy McVeigh       > killed lots of people in USA and your government       > is doing nothing against them.              Unlike in Canada, where Lortie, the nut who shot up the Quebec       legislature, murdering several people back in 1983, is now out       running a corner store. Yes, sure, Daniel, Canada has a lot to tell       the US about handling murderers-- and in case you missed it,       Tim McVeigh was EXECUTED for his murders. And even though       a majority of Canadians would prefer the same for our mass murders,       well, we don't get a say. The CBC you trust ran a campaign poking       fun at referenda during the 2000 election.              Our media talks about the USA being       divided, meanwhile we have Quebec continually threatening to       seperate, a West that is asking to be let in and continually being       rebuffed, a Newfoundland that is sick of its oil revenue being       hoovered into Ottawa, and a national government awash in corruption       that has remained in power without popular support for decades.       The number of people bothering to vote is dropping, as people       realize there's no point.               Chris Retterath, in Canada, protected by the USA        starviewfarm.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
