   I'm using news.eternal-september as my news host.   
      
   Got to: Thunderbird/Tools/Message Filters   
   Select Filters for: news.eternal-september - rec.games.pinball - make New...   
   Filter name: (Something you'll recognize), make sure Apply filter when:   
   Manually Run & Getting New Mail, then tick "match any of the following"   
   and start filling in any annoyances "From", "contains", "email - such as   
   'idealmedstore@gmail.com'"
