In that case, the GAMES and       > the game technology facilitated the need for the controller as opposed to       > the Wii trying to come with a controller without need.              By your exact logic, the DS was the last innovation, since there are       several titles with completely new gameplay that simply would not have       been possible on any other system. Games such as Ouendan, Nintendogs and       Brain Training would not have ever existed were it not for the       introduction of Nintendo DS, and seeing as the Wii introduces yet       another completely new way to interact with games, and therefore will       provide completely new gameplay, providing developers think outside the       box a little.              Going back to my original point, Sonic may have a similar game mechanic       to before, but playing it with a different controller will deliver a       fresh experience, something which playing tarted up Tomb Raider on the       360 doesn't really deliver over the PS2 version.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
