It just depends on how you look at it...       As I understand it, for you, a game is defined by what you're doing in       the game. Whereas for me, the game is within how you interact with       whatever you're doing. So for me, different controls make a game       different, but for you, different controls just mean an alternative       interface, not a different game...              I think the discussion got a little bit abstracted as well, the original       point I was making was that Sonic on Wii will feature different gameplay       to what's seen on Gamecube/PS2/Xbox, which had the potential to be better.              As I understand it, Wii Sonic will be played completely on rails, and       the player simply has control over "steering", Sonic's speed, and       whether you're going forwards or backwards... Which is going back more       towards the traditional Sonic games, something I much prefer. As I       haven't read any different, I'm assuming that PS3/360 sonic will be       controlled in the same manner as Sonic Adventure 1/2/Heroes, which I       didn't find as enjoyable. Therefore, my point was that Wii Sonic has the       potential to have improved gameplay over its predecessors, whereas the       PS3/360 versions will more than likely feel very much like the previous       efforts.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
