In the States they're out already? I thought they wouldn't hit the market
until the end of October. I'm trying to restrain myself from importing
lately, because I'm starting to realize how that influences what companies
decide to release. Localization won't happen if the target market buys out
another country's stock, like we did with Shenmue 2.

That fits in with other online games. Apparently a lot of developers are
unhappy with Xbox Live. On the other hand, having the whole network
structure abstracted away like that means that they don't have to worry
about coding up an interface for every game. That's one reason that
Square's PlayOnline system turns me off.
