But a 54%       as typically viewed as a "bad" game is simply maligning a good game for       no real reason. Spikeout Battlestreet is fast and challenging, and has       a variety of moves and throws at least equal to the Streets of Rage       games, but this is in 3D. Sure, the game is kind of easy on Live, but       playing through it in single player mode is a real challenge to the       players dexterity and skill. I can't think of a single flaw in the       gameplay. The only way to claim Battlestreet is inferior is to claim       that cinematics are now more important than gameplay because it is only       in the "story" that the game comes up short, relatively speaking. I'd       take Battlestreets fighting engine over the vast majority of Adventure       titles with group fighting engines any day. I would place the engine       above stuff like Bloodrayne, Hunter the Reckoning and Dynasty Warriors       (yes), and below Shenmue 1+2 only. The Devil May Cry games have a       different focus, but the engine there is more concise that       Battlestreet's is. What causes you to claim the game is so bad as to be       in the bottom 2%?              --       Scott              http://www.gamepilgrimage.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
