Tech: Sega Rally - DRIVE BD ERROR!!!

   OK folks, this machine loves to test me out. The force feedback comes on   
   intermittently. When it doesn't work and I do a "Drive BD Test", it tells me   
   DRIVE BD ERROR!!!. Any ideas where I should start to look? The force   
   feedback works occasionally but only by chance.
