The Nomad wants to see 9 - 10 vdc at about a 1/2 ampish, positive on the
pin. It will work fine with 7.2, and will work but be glitchy at 6 ish. I
would not try to use one of the newer switching power supplies with the
multiple outputs. The switching noise from cheap adapters could cause odd
problems on occasion. It's my experience that a 1200 mah battery lasts
about 2 and a half hours or so. The display is one of the nicer ones out
for it's vintage. I don't remember if it's TFT or not.
