How many systems       > allowed you to do that, let alone without the help of any add-ons?              Not only that, but it throws that sheet of bilinear filtering, thus       softening up a lot of those hard-ass edges that makes old school PSX 3D       look so blocky. That's probably my favorite feature of the PS2, and my       driving reason for eventually wanting to pick one of the slim models up       at some point down the line.              > Xbox360 and PS3 initially promised to do the same but sadly, have       > compatibility issues with a handful of their past library.              I hadn't heard that the PS3 was having any backwards compatibility       issues, but then again I don't really pay attention. One question       though: Does the PS3 do anything for PS2/PS1 games like the PS2 does for       PS1 games?              > In any       > case, counting all PSX and PS2 games combined, I'd say there are a       > total of 7-9 games that justify the purchase of a PS2 for me. NG1, I don't think I would have the patience       to play through un-Game Genie-assisted, but I know I could take NG2 and       NG3 without it as they are substantially easier. Good, good stuff.              Bel              --       Whip Ass Gaming: http://www.whipassgaming.com/              "Police fired a talcum powder ball at the ground outside a Target store       in Henrico, Va., to get the attention of an unruly crowd of about 350       people who were waiting to buy one of the shop's eight PS3 consoles,       police said."              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
