   Blink and you miss it. Looks like the Amazon price was a temporary sale,   
   as all versions of the game are back up to $50 or thereabouts. Still, it's   
   good to know that there's still interest in the game from people who   
   haven't joined up yet.   
      
   Incidentally, if any of you are still on the fence about going online, you   
   should know that the online Guardian missions appear to continue the plot   
   of the offline game. Your online character is generically inserted into a   
   training mission gone horribly wrong, with some of the major NPC Guardians   
   making appearances. Without spoiling too much, I found Ethan Waber to be   
   an interesting adversary. :)
