A       fact is something to look up, an opinion is an individual point of view       which can be based on fact and observation but is not necessarily so.       It is a fact that the game lists in that section of the site were       compiled in polls and from gamefaqs review comments. Similarly, the       Console History page lists facts about the systems (hence the       citations). An opinion based on those fact would be something to the       effect of one company "seems better" than another. An opinion about a       game is that it is or is not fun. A fact about a game is that it plays       with certain gameplay mechanics, has graphics of comparable quality and       detail to other games, etc. Claiming that gameplay mechanics are an       opinion, or that a game on a list is by default based on an opinion,       does nothing but attempt to discourage conversation. I think that I       have more than proven that I am willing to discuss any aspect of the       site in a civil and reasonable manner and I do not appreciate being       contradicted out of hand.              --       Scott              http://www.gamepilgrimage.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
