To be fair, a lot of the things that are unappealing about the demo are
specific to Xbox Live and not to PSU in general. After trying the first
demo way back November, I decided to get the game... on PS2. :)

How many of the other environments were available in the most recent demo?
I was pretty disappointed with the dungeon level in the colony, but once
they opened up Neudaiz and Parum for the old demo I was hooked. Those
lobbies are pretty appealing aesthetically, and the forest and plain
environments are just lovely. There's also a couple of dungeons on Parum
done in the spirit of the PSO mines, with lots of depth and flashy,
   technological landscape.

Is that really what they're trying to do though? I'm not much of an MMO
player, partly because I can't stand PVP. To me, PSU is a nice, fresh
breath of counter-programming, more in the spirit of Guild Wars. I have to
imagine that there's enough of a market to support both types of games.
