I don't think it'd be too much       > to offer both separately as a number of freeware games do (I want to       > say Seikus and... Cave Story do as I recall).              Hmmmm, I'm still missing it here...and I'm really not trying to harass       you in any way, shape or form. You say you don't want to play it without       the music, but you don't want to download the music at the same time as       the game, as one download? I mean, if you get the game files...will you       play them without downloading the music files? I don't understand       splitting the archive file when you say you don't want to play it       without the music.              I guess I do forget about the dial up users though, especially those not       in the US. I think the ratio here in the US is around 60% or higher for       broadband subscribers...but then I do hear stories from time to time       about those who are still out of reach of broadband. I do dream of a       world in which dial up isn't even available, that everyone has, at       least, a standard 768/128 connection...the net has just evolved so far       beyond the grasp of 56k. :(              >> Doesn't it have auto saves and whatnot?       >>       >> Bel       >       > Nope. :/              I thought it did, somewhere in the options. I've only played a few       levels so far though, so I guess I could be wrong on that. I'm sort of       waiting until I can get an S-Video cable for my laptop, so I can play       the game on my TV, with a controller and whatnot. I agree though, if it       didn't allow one to save, and the game just crashed on the 5th or 6th       level, I'd probably not play it again either. :(              Bel       --       Whip Ass Gaming: http://www.whipassgaming.com/              "Question: What is Web 2.0?       Answer: Web 2.0 is a combination of Web 1.0 and being punched in the dick."        - The Hogosphere, Something Awful              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
