   Hi. I've had my Dreamcast now for about going on five years.   
      
   When I go to boot up the console, it asks me to input the date   
   and time, but it wont allow me to do that, just seems   
   like it hangs and button mashing the controller of   
   course doesen't do anything.   
      
   I know the controller itself works since I can hit the   
   start button and bypass the little dreamcast intro   
   animation, right before it asks for the date/time.   
      
   I've had this problem happen to me twice before, and I haven't   
   the slightest idea of how I was able to get around it.   
      
   I've tried everything to get the system to respond, put in   
   game discs and music CDs, nothing works.   
      
   the Dreamcast is modle # HKT-3020   
      
   eh, in the meantime I'll just leave it plugged   
   in for the next 12 or so hours, see if anything   
   happenes.   
      
   Any help is greatly appreicated   
      
   and I was ready to rock some old school   
   NES with Nester DC :)
