Aerowings in USA) is very simmy, so it's       incredibly inappropriate to a vast swath of gamers. and the first one,       since shit wasn't being pointlessly blown up, was a huge disappointment       to a lot of people. but i liked it; not pointlessly violent, wholly       contingent on patience and skill, create artistry out of your skill in       the sky.              but it's impossibly hard to find gamers in USA who want to cooperate and       create something beautiful. especially if there is next to no violence       and smack talking involved. case in point note the different national       communities on PSO... and that had the luxury of violence and invited       smack talking.              oh well, in many ways i'm a gamer anomaly in this country. that's why i       look forward to studying abroad in Japan. maybe i'll find a few players       who want to play an arcade train simulator cooperating on running a       commuter schedule in a simulated Tokyo rush hour... or maybe i'll break       down and just vegetate in front of a pachinko machine.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
