   Cool, thanks for the link. I've viewed the video, and that's definitely   
   captured from an emulator. There's no telling which one, but for sure it's   
   overrendering the frames. That's to say, it's drawing more than an actual   
   Game Gear would on its own screen, rather than trying to emulate fully the   
   refresh and frame rate of the real hardware. That's computationally   
   inefficient, so I can see why earlier emulators wouldn't use that   
   approach.   
      
   About my dislike for Flash? I don't want dancing animals popping up on my   
   screen telling me where to get my next mortgage. I'm perfectly happy   
   seeing a blank window that says I need a plug-in. :)
