I       > think they could have made a better port of it for the SNES thats for       > sure.              Well, SFA1 is just a much smaller game too. I mean, there are, what, 8       characters...three of which are pretty much just palette swaps? Just       makes more sense, on a cart, to attempt the smaller of the two games.       Your chances of pulling off a more accurate conversion is greatly       increased. ;)              > But I really don't like SFA1's gameplay in comparison to SFA2       > and 3 through, those are really good.               From what I've read, SFA1 was more of a test than anything else. They       wanted to see if the public was ready to go for a more combo-happy       Street Fighter. This definitely explains why the character roster was so       amazingly small, and there were only like, what, 4 or 5 backgrounds?              Still, I agree with you, I like the way SFA2 plays more than SFA1(though       I don't mind the chains, to tell you the truth, it was a nice change of       pace). SFA3 just makes me sick to my stomach....              BTW, expect a PM via the forums here in a bit....the sale has begun. ;)              Bel       --       Whip Ass Gaming: http://www.whipassgaming.com/              "Time flies when you're kicking ass!"        - Duke in Duke Nukem: Time to Kill              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
