   The UK mags that I've read fell just as hard for the SNES's unique   
   features as the US mags did.  From what I've seen though, they didn't   
   take that wonderment and awe at the "newness" of the SNES and start   
   calling everything else on the market "dated."  That might have had   
   something to do with the popularity of SEGA in that market though.  I   
   still see comments like "way more colors" and "arcade perfect" more   
   often than is actually true.
