   The Dreamcast keyboard has a completely different encoder, so it's not   
   just a matter of rewiring it. You'd have to have a PIC or some other chip   
   in between to translate between the DC encoder and the normal PC or USB   
   interface. As far as I know, there's never been such a device built. There   
   have been only devices that do the reverse, allowing a PC keyboard to be   
   used on the Dreamcast console.   
      
   Just out of curiosity, what's the issue with going online? There are still   
   independent PSO servers running, every dial-up service should still be   
   compatible with the modem, and lucky people with the BBA can use the   
   Planetweb browsers until the end of time. That's to say nothing of the   
   official and homebrew games that use the keyboard offline, like Typing of   
   the Dead or the freeware Ultima IV release.
