   I'm a big fan of Super Space Invaders 91. It's known in Japan as 'Majestic   
   Twelve: Space Invaders Part IV' and breaks up the alien shooting action   
   with a handful of fun mini games. One in particular has you defending a   
   herd of cows from alien cattle mutilators, in a sort of bovine version of   
   Defender. One of the few games that made me laugh out loud the first time   
   I played it.   
      
   Incidentally, isn't the Taito Legends series published by Sega in the US?   
   Just looking for a way to make this on topic. :)
